Check out this episode from Franceli Chapman’s talk webseries, Celi’s Hangout on YouTube. A unique forum addressing artists of color with topics ranging from finding housing to chats with up-and-coming talent like the women of Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black. Franceli is a smart, driven, fascinating young woman with a unique perspective. Definitely one to watch. So honored to be a panelist on this episode!
Had the chance to take part in this amazing reading of Wallace Shawn’s OUR LATE NIGHT, a play he hadn’t heard read in the US in 30 years. Sexually charged, bizarre, provocative stuff. Fascinating conversation with New Dramatist Resident Playwright Francine Volpe and Mr. Shawn afterward. The excellent cast included Lisa Joyce, Gibson Frasier, Andrew Garman and yours truly. Directed by the New Group’s Ian Morgan.
